Management skills

 

A manager’s job is varied and complex, managing requires certain skills to perform the duties and activities associated with their position.

Robert L. Katz distributes skills needed into three essential skills there are:

Technical skills, human skills, and conceptual skills.

 

Technical skills;

Technical skills are needed to collect knowledge and proficiency in a certain field.

so, lower levels of managing are our target.

        for example engineering, computers, accounting, or manufacturing.


Human skills;

it involves the ability to work efficiently in case of work in groups, or individually.


Conceptual skills;

It is a type of skill needed to help managers to deal with complex situations.
