 WHAT DO MANAGERS DO?

You will never find two managers' jobs are alike, but there are specific categorization schemes to describe what managers do.

All managers in any field perform five basic functions, these  functions are:

Planning,

Organization,

Commanding,

Coordinating,

And Controlling,

Henry Fayol summarized the functions achieved by managers in any field of the industrial or commercial organization into the previous five categories.
